CASA Accelerator Physics
Biweekly Report: 04/13/15 - 04/17/15

Here is the biweekly report from Physics: initials are individuals (DD=Dave Douglas, CT=Chris Tennat, AB=Alex Bogacz, AC=Alex Castilla, RG=Randy Gamage, TS=Todd Satogata). In the future I'd like to write a short paragraph on each main topic rather than isolate bullet points, but I'd like feedback from you whether you think narrative or bullets are better for your purposes.
My most recent trip to Cincinnati was frustrating. I drove to NC to pick Leah up and we drove to Cincy so we could both be at my mother's first major oncology appointment. The facility had it in their records that the appointment was on Friday morning at 11. The time for transport came and went without transport, and we all made calls only to find out that the docs office had called my mother weeks before and changed the appointment, and had not informed her skilled nursing care facility or us. So we basically took several days and a long trip to take care of some small things and have a visit, along with getting worked up for the oncology appointment. Her appt was moved to Mon Apr 27, and I'm not sure I'll be able to make that because of obligations in both 6 GeV setup and IPAC. Frustrating. Leah and I drove back to NC tonight and I'll get up at my usual early hour and will make it back tomorrow for the management meeting and to help with 12 GeV setup.
