-working on PRL referee report (submitted today)

-reread articles on gear changing, trying to reproduce Hao Paper with BB3D

-modifying BB3D to do gear changing

-Interviewed candidates for #11807.


He Zhang:

Worked on cooling simulations for DC cooling scenarios where one reuses the b. beam cooler.
Conclusion is that one can cool after filling the booster at 8GeV. 30 meters of solenoid, 3A of e- current and about 10 minutes of cooling time.
