Andrew Hutton

Previous two weeks (Dec 23 - Jan 3)
     - Before Christmas, I developed a scaling for the AWA-ANL defection cavity for JLEIC straight merger. I managed to find a parameter set
that would enable the straight merger cavity to be a room-temperature copper cavity, rather than an SRF cavity. But it is a bit of a
brute, so may not be the optimum.
     - After Christmas, I returned to AccApp 2020 preparations. I have already evaluated the Abstracts, now I am trying to develop a layout
for each Session I am responsible for (4).
     - Jan 3, I am hosting Courtney Washington for a visit to the isotope irradiation area in the LERF vault. I promised her that I would
invite her once she turned 18, which happened in November.
Next two weeks Jan 6 - Jan 17)
     - I will complete the AccApp 202 preparations.
     - I have to prepare the first draft of the Quarterly Report for the Isotope Program. In addition, Doug Wells and I have a conference call
with Ethan Balkin, the DOE Isotope Program Manager, to discuss the relative importance of Copper64 when mixed with Copper 67.
     - I leave for Vienna on January 9, returning on January 16, but will not come to the lab on January 17.
