Post-meeting notes

  • Need to make ppt slide showing CST model with Rmax regions (regions where particles are removed), and where E-field is defined
  • Create a "killmap" (Map3D_Remove GPT function) from stepfile?
  • Solenoid and second steerer field maps are overlapping...perhaps move second corrector upstream to z=0.5m? - need same kicks on both correctors so that the beam returns to center
  • Perhaps use physical values of steering coils (in G-cm)
  • Make plot of Cristhian's B & Φ on axis (including solenoids, correctors, and E-field)
  • Start at 135mm with correct particle distribution (i.e. use screen at z=135mm) for easy comparisons with IBSimu
  • Correct x vs y plot (Python) - update axis labels
  • Pick solenoid lens setting for small beam at dipole
  • Fix 15 deg dipole field map link (wasn't working at time of meeting) and upload to wiki w/comment
  • Figure out cause of bump in RMS emittance plot
