- Things to try next, in order:
- 1. Run with the beam viewers shields completely out for improved pumping speed,
- 2. Bias anode positive, John hsa PS
- 3. Increase laser spot size to 4 mm
- 4. Make a brand new photocathode (there is one puck with bare GaAs in the prep chamber) using the mask.
- For future, Joe G. recommends to do a high temp (450) beam dump bakeout.
- And also:
- QE scanner, Dennis Turner working on software, Shukui and Adriana to setup laser scanner beam alignment
- We need full EPICS control of the laser....some day
