We discussed a few key ideas today:
- Photo-Elastic Modulator or Acoustic Opto-Manipulator (eg; Bathroom scale)
- A Metal's Saturation levels when it comes to Magnetic fields polarizing/aligning their electrons
- Iron Saturates at around 2.2 Tesla (22000 Gauss)
- The Magnets Riad wants to use have a strength of around 1500-2000 Gauss (.15-.22 Tesla)
- We need to look into Metals that saturate at a lower level near the magnetic field that Riad will be using.
