Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility, Center for Injectors and Sources
Our Mission: To develop and maintain high performance electron sources and injectors for particle accelerators. Our responsibilities include the 12 GeV Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF), the 100 MeV Low Energy Research Facility (LERF) ERL, 10 MeV Upgrade Injector Test Facility (UITF) and the 500 keV Gun Test Stand (GTS). Our work revolves around the production of both polarized and unpolarized electron and positron beams with special interest in high voltage DC guns, RF synchronized lasers, high vacuum, novel photocathodes, and precision polarimetry. What's New ... October 2016 - The P3 organizing committee is pleased to announce that Jefferson Laboratory will be hosting the next Photocathode Physics for Photoinjectors (P3) Workshop, October 17-19 2016. Feel free to visit our group area for recent Conference and Workshop contributions here CIS Conference and Workshop Proceedings. |
