I accomplished the Red LR minimum approach experiment twice today. In the first exeriment, Both the left and the right starting at around 20 nW and seeing rotation and therefore increase in both directions. The other experiment I purposefully turned the analyzer to as close to 1 degree as possible leaving the left and right starting points at somewhere around 200 nW. In some sense this experiment was both a slope experiment and a left right approach. These two data sets should have different slopes due to their being located on different parts of the cos^2 fit. The first experiment the starting powers were around 20 nW. The leaking power, or where the absolute minimum should have been there was around .9 - 1 nW of power leaking through, with a maximum power of around 553 uW. The second experiment with turning the analyzer to as close to 1 degree as possible to ensure the arbitrary rotation amount. The starting powers were somewhere around 200 nW.
