GTS meeting 10 14 19

Limit voltage to 135kV

(1) Status

• Gun assembled with ceramic and blank flange only. Pumping. 4e-8 over 3 days (potential leak)
• RF cage complete
• Back plate modified and hot deck attached in 'run set-up' (new bar placement an issue - might want to recess the bar)
• Electrode assembled and snow cleaned ready for installation
• GTS cleaner

(2) Plans

• PSS cert
• Run up Xelera spellman connected to gun to 135kV
• If corona test good... break vacuum and install electrodes
• Leak check, Quick HV test, then bake, Kr processing as necessary

To Fix List (to get GTS running):

• Glassman PSS Chassis (Service request to Omar - Carlos)
• LCW Chassis (Coleman today or tomorrow)
• Spellman (needs further investigation)
• Picoammeter x2? (Pete Francis in hand - sent for fix)
• Viewers insertion boxes bad

To Check:

• Magnets (IOC check)
• Cathode solenoid - power supply

(3) T-Gun Upgrades

To Fix/Modify:

• DC bias supply - set point fix (John Musson)
• Software issues (Karl to contact Spellman again)
• Install new fiber link & check (CW setting - Mark emailed company)
• Need RF fiber from Karl for reflected power

(4) Housekeeping

• Remove JLab spellman
• Sort out the air and nitrogen lines.
