Hi Matt,
The simplest way to operate the UITF machine at different frequencies (+/1 MHz) is to use an external generator, similar to how we drove the laser. The generator used for the laser is a clock generator and is not the best option, as the signal contains a number of harmonics. While it worked for the laser, it may not be ideal for other systems.
To improve this, you have two options: you can either purchase a new generator for $5,000 or borrow from us a suitable one for a limited time (lesspreferable 😕).
Additionally, I need to amplify and split the LO signal into four channels, which will cost approximately $800.
