Run Plan

  • Chamber is filled with natural N2O

The expected rates are calculated with 3 cm cell thickness and thin radiator.

  • Run Plan:
  1. Start with beam at 6.5 MeV (kinetic)
  2. Increase beam K.E. by 0.1 MeV steps all the way to 8.5 MeV
  3. Reproduce the overall rate shown above
  4. At K.E. of 8.5 MeV, increase the chamber threshold by increasing the pressure. Suppress the 14N(γ,p)13C events.
