Beam Noise

FastSEE BPM Mode
  1. To start : Accel Menubar => EDM => BPM => New FastSEE Control
  2. Choose a BPM by selecting corresponding ioc e.g. iocse11
  3. Parameters
  • Sampling is 4 micro-seconds
  • Frequency of sampling is determined by Display Update Rate
  • BPMSEE mode - non-invasive, sampling rate is slower but BPM spikes update correctly; make sure FastSee Light is ON
  • FastSEE mode - invasive, sampling is faster and BPM spikes may update erratically
