Post-meeting notes

  • Cristhian presented ion back-bombardment simulations for a 3mA electron beam for 200us for a gas density of 2.60e18 and a beam radius of 0.2mm.
  • Josh presented updated plots of the ionization cross section and ion production rate vs. energy for H2, CH4, and CO. These were weighted by gas pressures from Marcy's presentation last week.
  • Need to look at secondary electron yield (SEY) for ions on GaAsCs photocathodes
  • Need to make histograms for GPT simulations
