Let's meet on Wednesday from 3-4pm in TL-1227 to discuss possible CEBAF injector vacuum upgrades.

- Injector Upgrade - Gun through Quarter, maybe through FC2 gate is being rebuilt
- Timeline/Opportunities - SAD (Aug-Oct, 2019), Upgrade (May 6, 2020 ... for 6 months)
- Review Marcy/Daniel survey of injector IP power supplies media:190220_IP_Summary.xlsx
- Existing Power Supplies
- John's serial UHV work => unique design (low power 100uA, have interlock option, digital comm for readback, HV set, interlock limit?)
- Digitel supplies work => aging, poor resolution (high power mA, many ganged pumps, analog ADC readback, interlock limit boxes?)
- IP PS Upgrade Considerations
- Ion pumps
- Provide holding voltage with nA or uA curren
- Provide starting current of X uA?
- Independence (Adjust HV set on any IP, monitor current on any IP, interlock any IP)
- Still require some high power supplies available for bakes, activation, readback helpful, interlock probably not necessary
- Power supplies
- Gamma SPC => experience in rest of machine, nA resolution, EPICSs
- INC UHV => INC own/evolve design?, used at UITF, sub-nA resolution
