Milestone 1

After my first Iron foil holder did not turn out, we came up with a new design in order to ensure the foil bend at the strength of the Magnetic field. After many optics table manipulations and adjustments I finally was able to adjust the analyzer to the minimum amount of light (Cross-Polarization), and move the magnets closer to the foil up to around 1-2 mm away. As the magnet came closer, the power increased indicating a rotation of the light. From moving the analyzer towards the minimum amount of power, I was able to conclude the light was linearly being rotated to the Left.
