Electrode/insulator design/fabrication
- Gabriel assessed fields to vacuum chamber, modified shed radius
- S&A insulator measurements
- ME design for shop ... goal was end of March !!!
- Then ... vacuum fire electrode 900C, barrel polish, assemble to insulator
- Status of parts
Vacuum chamber/considerations
- Use as-is, but identify/repair short of NEG isolation, retain leak valve but add right angle for isolation. Do we forego NEG isolation and remove unnecessary ceramic plates (fallen to bottom of chamber)
Gun2 NEG Tube
- BPM discussion w/ Musson happened last Monday
- Plan A :
- Plan B : Consider using more wires to measure position and moments a.k.a. spot size
- Re-use Gun3 NEG solenoid
- Met in tunnel to develop first pass ME design Logbook pic/layout of the existing Gun2 NEG
Gun3 Removal
- Matt check with Willeke next week for Gun3
- Marcy submitted ATLIS task for the job
- Remove Gun3 table, rebuild 8" chamber w/ extractor, RGA, GP-100 on 80/20 stand
- Recoup Gun3 MFH solenoid

- Time to get him started on Spellman at UITF?
