Steering an electron beam, or biasing a polarimeter requires numerous high voltage supplies. Typically these are built in a rack, using power supplies with far more current than needed. Steve Covert designed and built an octal supply prototype that is housed in a 1U rack housing, containing (8) high voltage biasing modules. These modules are current limited to about 1mA, and output either a positive or negative voltage depending on the model: 1000V, 2000V or 3000V.

All set points and read backs are accessed via the RS232 port (Ethernet will be available on final version).
