• Why PAC proposals might fail?
  • Arguments that reversing CEBAF dipole polarities is problematic or costly
  • Arguments that e+ and e- beam energies cannot be within 5e-4 of one another
  • Arguments for a cold start tune-up of CEBAF with low current (10 uA peak @ 60Hz: VL~6e-4 = 6nA ave, BPM~1.5e-2 = 150 nA)

• Bunch length needs to be confirmed, north linac fractional energy spread acceptance needs to be checked, emittance is a concern
