Let's go over the beam line layout and discuss main components:

  • gun - uses tee-electrode, scaled to 130kV, (r,z) extent of field map
  • solenoids - field maps, scale factor
  • steering coils - should be used to put beam on axis (r=0, r'=0) in first solenoid
  • dipole - to be implemented

Simulation benchmarking

  • Joe - upload information for actual location/size of beam distributions for 1mA & 1.5mA runs
