Beam energies: 2.1, 4.0, 6.0 GeV (1.96 GeV/pass)

Run Plan: Nov 10 - 11 2021

  • Wednesday
    • Owl - Possible early beam delivery.
    • Day - Possible early beam delivery.
    • Swing - Fill target H, scheduled beam to hall.
  • Thursday
    • Owl - Beam checkout: (Beam to tagger dump, harp scan, beam to faraday, harp scan, beam position scan, possibly Moller polarimeter run), Trigger validation for ECAL efficiency and DC roads efficiency
    • Day - Production H data, Select good run for calibration process
    • Swing - Production H data

Other Important Information

  • Trigger Validation Run Requirements:
    • For CLAS12 RG-A, 100M events with 50 nA current
    • After cooking skim needs to be PID==11 && status >=2000 && status <4000.
  • Take a DC roads validation with and without roads (roads is always in trigger bit information)
    • Run with Rafa's software to evaluate efficiency of roads should be > 99.9%

General Instructions:

Every Shift:

  • Follow run plan as outlined by RC
  • If any concern about beam stability, ask MCC if orbit locks are on (they should be).
  • Keep shift summary up to date in HBLOG. Record all that happens.
  • Check on white board all scalers, strip charts and monitoring plots that need to be logged regularly
  • Document any beam condition change and send scaler GUIs to HBLOG
  • Fill out BTA hourly. Click "Load from EPICS" to automatically fill the left side.
  • Fill and submit the shift checklist in the logbook
