CLAS Speakers Committee

Before any member gives a talk at a conference, workshop, or invited seminar, he or she must notify or make a request of the CLAS Speakers Committee prior to the talk. Check out the procedures at the CSC website

Abstract Submission

It has been the tradition of the Working Group that abstracts for talks need to be sent to "nuclear@jlab.org" 1 week prior to the submission date. This allows for comments and feedback from the group.

Guidelines for Posting Presentations

All talks should be posted at least 1 week prior to your travel date( 2 weeks prior is preferable).

  • Place a copy of your presentation in the appropriate upcoming conference folder. These folders are located on the jlab filesystem at /site/www/html/Hall-B/secure/nuclear/presentations/. Make sure your file is world readable (chmod a+r )
  • Send email via nuclear@jlab.org announcing your presentation and solicit comments from collaborators. In your message include a short summary of the material you want to present and a description of the venue. Also include a statement reminding collaborators to send comments to "nuclear@jlab.org".
