1. Operations LINAC
Problems with magnet power supply will continue until just before Thanksgiving
CHL1
Recovery C8 failed completely. We are moving to complete new C8 and prepare it for installation. Work remaining is low and high side pressure tests which will be completed under the C9 TOSP as planned. Once pressure tests are complete the unit will be turned over to operations to install and clean carbon. In parallel EI&C will check out all the wiring and Alicia and Nate will work out a plan for installation to be approved by Mat when he returns.
CHL2

ESR
Sending 15K 20g/s to Hall A target 4K load is at 1410W out of 1500W available from ESR alone.
Current Loads within approximately 50W Hall A 6 magnets and one target Hall B torus (they have ramped to 300A and did a fast dump which blew the primary 4.5K relief) Hall C Old HMS, HB, Q1
CTF
The average fill rate w/cryomodule was 1.3 %/hr.
The Dewar was idle for 52 hours.
The minimum Dewar Liquid Level was 69%.
The maximum Dewar Liquid Level was 95%.
Event(s): 1) October 19th, Cooling water piping modifications began. 2) October 21st, Swapped main compressors from C1 to C3 3) October 21st, Expander 1 valve arm was swapped 4) October 21st, Approx. 6 atm transferred from CHL 5) October 21st, arc cell (CCT20N) replaced and calibrated 6) October 23rd, Recovery Compressor C6 tripped on high discharge temp. 7) October 24, Expander 2A tripped off speed ratio and there was a breakthrough. 8) October 24th, Recovery Compressor C4 shut off. Load valve and coils replaced. 9) October 25th, C6 Acid Flush 10) October 25th, Approx. 2.8 atm transferred from CHL. 11) October 25th, main compressor low pressure suction alarm went off due to valve reaction time.

We can start performing work that is labor only. Work is starting on the VJ section of the HDIce warm return line that installs above the cryomodule and completing the vacuum pump connection point.
MSU
Upper cold box will be delivered to MSU soon. Fabio wants us to change the model for the compressors from Ideas to Solidworks.
LCLS2
Results of installation review were complicated. Reviewers wanted to see much more detail than they provided and have made several recommendations such as hiring an outside reviewer to check all calculations, verify piping sizes, etc.
3. Manpower
The new EE regular employee and ECAD contract employee are scheduled to start on Nov 1.
