1. Manpower


The EE started Nov 1. This person to be used to support LCLS2, UIM, OPs. They have been briefed on LCLS2 and are starting work.

The ECAD contract designer started 31 Oct. This person to be used to support LCLS2, UIM. He is starting on LCLS2.

Chris Scanlon submitted a PR for AutoCAD ECAD software for the engineers. It is currently waiting for Allison's signature. Jonathan has sent her an email requesting a signature. We have three EE's waiting for the SW.


2. Recovery Compressor and Guard Vacuum Skid Fabrication

Cryo did provide capital and manpower estimates to LCLS2 for the guard vac skid.


3. 2K Cold Box

Scheduled for 16 Nov. Preble has not found a chair person yet.

They are still working on the schedule slippages.


5. Schedule compression

JLab is not in favor of schedule compression. Because of the expected delivery dates of the cold boxes this move does not have any upside. Leaving the work spread out over the current schedule allows manpower to be used more effectively.


Action Items

1. Compressor bodies and other recovery compressor equipment MUST be signed off in order to not delay delivery schedule any further.

2. Cryo to complete an estimate for fabricating two recovery compressors by Friday. (DONE)

3. Cryo to complete estimate and provide to LCLS2 for approval on guard vacuum system. (DONE)

4. Get Allison to sign off ECAD software so EE's can begin using it immediately.
