ESR turbines could have modified bearing gas systems.  This needs to be clarified for both turbines.

T2 will sometimes stop (following a trip) after a significant amount of time (< 10 minutes), or not stop at all.

When pressure is applied to T2 inlet valve, the turbine will slowly spin.  High level of confidence that the inlet valve leaks by.

[[action items]]

# investigate bearing gas process at ESR

# Verify LVDT on turbine inlet valve

# Warm T2.  Schedule.  Dependent on transfer line.

# Check seating force of T2 inlet valve (require trip?) (verify proper operation)

# Can T2 be isolated to support troubleshooting without damaging turbine or stopping entire CBX?

# Develop plan to isolate CBX in the event T2 must be stopped, and/or CBX must be tripped.

# Verify that we have a spare.

# What is required to check seating force (operationally)?

# Create an alarm that will alert us when turbine inlet valves are closed and turbine speed is > 0.

# drink a beer

# Get the transfer line from CHL operational

# follow-up meeting ~1/20/2017.

# Contact Pete to begin information/data collection, vendors, contacts.
