Wheel did get to AL/S2M.

Normal. There was a shutdown of the plant due to loss of cooling tower power. The water chemistry line broke and sprayed an electrical panel that caused a breaker trip. FM temporarily corrected the problem.Hall C has continued testing magnets successfully. Plant was restarted successfully and Halls recooled.

CTF

Kinney #2 ring pump spun a bearing. We are shipping it out to have it repaired. There is no spare Kinney at CTF until it returns.

The LCLS2 cryomodule is under test. SRF is happy with cryo.


HDR

2. Projects

UITF

Unknown priority

Pressure tests remain to be done on main transferline. The HDIce return line and electrical and controls work remain.

Currently looking for vacuum leaks in the transferline shell.


MSU

Working to accumulate the pressure systems documentation.


LCLS2

Bayonets will be shipped next week.

SLAC operations is interested in drafting a long term support agreement for after the machine is running.


3. Manpower

Docherty's last day is Friday.



4. Info from Will

1. Watch spending on OPS and ENG accounts. Try to keep spending to critical "stop work" items.

2. We will likely be on continuing resolution for the full FY all the way until FY18

3. We will run up to the holidays but when we restart is up for debate


4. Other

Will reports the PEMP report from DOE was over all good. There were some "meets" on LCLS2 work. Cryogenics was noted for their work in cryogenics.

Kelly is working the issue of potentially providing support to the S. Koreans FRIB style machine.
