3/15 Update

• CHL:

  1 Replacement/upgrade of LN2 fill station gauging:
    -Gauges have been replaced but the Dewar #1 Gauge is reading incorrectly.  Working to repair.

  2 CHL Guard Vacuum
    -Materials:  installed
    -Pressure System:  Signed
    -Drawings: Complete
    -Fabrication: Removal/repair of the hand rail.  Grouting and leg re-work.
    -Operations: Will need to remove feet, grout, shim and anchor the feet.  Will require welding.
    -Testing:  To be initial service leak checked upon completion of electrical work.  Pump temperatures will also need to be monitored.

  3 LN2 Dewar #1 instrumentation tubing replacement
    -Materials:  On-site
    -Pressure System:  Signed
    -Drawings: Complete
    -Fabrication: All paperwork and materials are with Scott.  He is scheduling.
    -Operations: N/A
    -Testing:  To be initial service leak checked upon completion.  

  4 LN2 PBC leaks
    -Materials:  TBD
    -Pressure System:  TBD
    -Drawings: TBD
    -Fabrication: TBD
    -Operations: All leaks have been identified and tabulated.  Ops is investigating the repair of threaded connections.
    -Testing:  Snoop

  5 ESR ORS Carbon Replacement
    -Materials:  Lifting adapter approved by Sprouse.  Estimating ~$350 for materials
    -Pressure System:  N/A
    -Drawings: Need to be developed.  Sent to Corey for him to prioritize.
    -Fabrication: awaiting drawings
    -Operations: Needs to be scheduled/planned.  Probably next summer
    -Testing:  Spool pieces will need to be tested.

  6 ESR Oil collection
    -Materials:  Ordered, waiting on sight glass to arrive.
    -Pressure System:  N/A
    -Drawings: Sketch delivered to shop.
    -Fabrication: TBD
    -Operations: Will require familiarity with system prior to installation.
    -Testing:  N/A, down stream of relief.

  7 CHL IA modification
    -Materials:  ordered
    -Pressure System:  Cat D
    -Drawings: in development
    -Fabrication: TBD
    -Operations: N/A
    -Testing:  Initial service leak test

  8 NL Cool Down Tie-in
    -Will purge and tie-in cool down valve

ESR Status

1. Hall A:

 - Magnets cold, on cold return, controlling properly
 - Warm flows return to ESR
 - Target cold.

1. Hall B:K

 - Torus at 
 - Warm flows return to CHL
 - Solenoid scheduled for May delivery

1. Hall C:

 - All magnets cold, on cold return
 - Warm flows return to CHL
 - Return transfer line replacement did not alleviate magnet pressure issue.
 - Q3 and dipole testing underway.
 - Target was successfully cooled and maintained on 2/28.
 - KPP scheduled for March.
