Agenda and Notes

1. CTF Capacity

CTF is a variable capacity machine producing up to 750W at 4.5K and 800W at 35K temperatures and up to g/s of liquefaction capability. It also uses warm vacuum pumps to provide up to 10 g/s of 2.1K capacity. The plant has a liquid helium storage capacity of up to 10,000 liters at 4.5K.

3. Loads

Currently their are two primary loads connected to the CTF plant, the VTA, and the CMTF. The UITF will also be connected sometime in the spring.

2. Reliability

Operating CTF at higher capacities effects availability.

3. Topics of this meeting

A) Improving the daily start time that VTA dewars can begin filling (getting the cold stuff here earlier in the morning)

B) Technical path to fully automated VTA dewars fill/pumpdown

C) Maintenance items for which we would like to request cryo help (arc cell installation, pair pump oil addition)

D) Lessons learned from past cryomodule cooldowns and warmups

Action Items

Attendees will notify cryo of any changes to the plan or changes to the operating conditions including any new tests.
