NPS LOGO

• the official NPS logo is the one proposed by Laurent Vatrinet

FRAME

• On the path to going back to normal operations

• Current estimate - shipment to JLab before Christmas

MAGNET

• Work ongoing

CRYSTALS

• Characterization of latest batch from Crytur ongoing today

HV DIVIDERS

• Plans posted - need access to lab to proceed

MECHANICAL (Paulo)

• Platforms etc. reqs signed off

• Currently working on rail mounting (rails themselves are in house)

NPS CALIBRATIONS (Jacob)

• Overview of NPS calibrations for DVCS kinematics

• Rates favorable - at least one kinematic can be done in one day

• Discussion about acceptance coverage - appears to be quite small

• Next topics to be investigated: HMS magnet calibration, Simulation development

TCS PROPOSAL (Marie, Vardan)

• Discussion of the TCS proposal slides

• Page 4: make horizontal axes the same

• Clear definition of geometry of hodoscope (2x2, how deep), what is the rate in one of these channels

• Specify granularity, e.g. GEM counters

• For calorimeter use higher than 1 MeV threshold

• Calibration of calorimeter - can one do in situ with elastics for energy calibration and resolution? - if assume yield changes by 10% over course of experiment due to radiation damage

• Updated proposal will be circulated for further comments
