PRESENTATION ON THE FORM FACTORS Link to the slides

  • Discussion of the presentation on Pion, Kaon, Nucleon EM and Gravitational form factors
  • Impressive that the pressure of the pion/proton are greater than that of a neutron star
  • What is the pressure in a point-like particle, D0
  • Pion stars?
  • Challenge to lattice-QCD for calculations of nucleon EM and gravitational form factors includes the challenge to get to the physical pion mass.
  • present calculations use 160-170 MeV. This is good, but to make progress masses closer to the physical pion mass would be needed
  • Good agreement of the nucleon EM FF calculations presented with those in Minkowski space by Gianni, Tobias, et al.
  • discussion about additional comparisons between these

DISCUSSION OF THE TDIS SLIDES

  • Include recent theory efforts on TMDs - see the presentation by Dan-Dan
  • Mention that development of TMD models on the theory front is possible, but that the next step would be to show how one might extract TMDs from data with all the experimental considerations. This also connects to the question received in previous presentations on TDIS
