STATUS UDPATES DETECTOR

   Detector has been on and data acquired - being analyzed

   Capacitors for addressing noise/oscillation issue in HV dividers being fabricated - should be ready for French team arrival (on Monday 1/9)

   cable arrangement ongoing with mechanical design/engineering team

MECHANICAL (Paulo, Steven L)

   coil quote arrived for the corrector magnet 

   working on cable guides (see above)

   announcement that will start weekly meetings with designers and work coordinator for installation work

DISCUSSION COLLABORATION MEETING AGENDA

   Overall format: hybrid with in-person component at JLab and remote participation option

           Action: check if people can travel to JLab

   Time table: Two days (2 and 3 February) from 8am to 1pm ET

   Agenda overview

           Day 1: Status of the NPS - making the detector - and new physics with NPS
           Day 2: Installation, checkout with beam, run plan, and preparation for the final readiness review

   Agenda details

           Re-organize agenda presently on wiki in format above
           Add physics talks on strange form factors (Bogdan) and DDVCS/TCS (Marie, Vardan, Deb, et al.)
           Commissioning of magnet and beamline should be part of the checkout with beam discussion
           Elastic commissioning should be part of the checkout with beam discussion
           Talk on trigger should be by FEG
           Talk on DAQ/electronics to complement it should also be part of the detector status updates session
           This is the last meeting before the run, so should have an extended discussion on preparing for the run

   Speakers for the detector updates will be contacted

   Day 2 discussion will be organized by the DVCS and SIDIS spokespersons team

           slides with bullet points can be provided on specific topics, e.g., polarimeter, magnet (what needs to be done, power supply, etc.)
           elastic checkout - Julie can provide a name for this part of the discussion

   Action items:

           re-organize collaboration meeting agenda and send out (Tanja)
           contact detector status updates speakers
           start an email discussion with DVCS/SIDIS spokespersons to work out the details of the Day 2 discussions
           contact people about bullet lists
