EEEMCAL BEAM TESTS 2021

The EEEMCal group is planning prototype beam tests at Jefferson Lab and DESY. The next beam test slot at DESY is May 2-15, 2022.

Beam tests at Jefferson Lab (contact: Tanja Horn)

The next possible prototype test beam in Hall D at JLab will start on 4 August 2022 and run through 16 October 2022. Another testing period may be available between 22 October - 20 December. The exact periods for EEEMCal prototype tests will be announced soon.

Beam tests at DESY (contact: Douglas Hasell)

The next test beam run at DESY will be May 2-15, 2022 in test beam area TB 24. However, I am planning to go to DESY the previous week arriving around April 23 to get a head-start on unpacking, setting-up, and making any repairs and upgrades using TB 24.1 as a staging area without beam. Then on Monday, May 2, we should be able to simply roll everything from TB 24.1 into TB 24 and be ready for beam with a minimum of lost time.
