DISCUSSION OF NSF SLIDES

  • Add the feature of EMCal as fast detector and essential in event selection
  • Emphasize physics --> x/Q2 space inclusive physics that can be enabled
  • Electron detection over a large phase space


SIMULATIONS

  • Available simulations for prototypes
  • NPS
  • NPS++
  • NPS simulations from AANL
  • TPEX simulations
  • Also available: simulation framework for EEEMCal in official EIC Escalate framework
  • Actions:
  • post links to simulation in a Wiki
  • make simulations accessible on public github
  • find out what type of simulations other Consortia are using


PROTOTYPE TESTS

  • Three are currently planned for 2021
  • Actions for future meetings
  • meeting on what the EEEMCal groups are working on including simulations
  • meeting on planned prototype tests and possibilities for REU projects and other contributions


EIC ACTIVITIES AND EEEMCAL

  • EOI - no direct overlap with any other EOIs
  • Reach out to groups interested in working on EIC and possibly EEEMCal
  • Engage with forming consortia
