NPS TASK LIST DISCUSSION

  • Format
  • Suggestion to use Gantt software to connect dependencies and resources
  • Alternatively insert column "duration" and "resources" for estimates
  • PMT testing
  • Hamamatsu tests PMTs before shipping - documentation is included in each shipment. Try to obtain the electronic documents.
  • 200 PMTs were tested in summer 2019 - no issues were found
  • Time to test: 200 PMTs took 2 months
  • No additional PMT testing for NPS, but may need time to select
  • PMT availability: need to get replacement for ~145 PMTs that were given to Hall D for CCAL
  • HV dividers
  • tested 850 dividers - test on hold now until have information on if/what modifications will be made to dividers to address anode current issue
  • dividers are still at OU
  • Crystal wrapping
  • in general takes 15-20 minutes/person
  • Timeframe for organizing test lab, e.g., unpack, set up things, etc.: September - December, 2021 (estimate)
  • Samtec connector
  • rating is 20A
  • need to check with planned HV operation conditions and document - plan to finalize these tests by 18 March 2021
  • Action items:
  • Circulate NPS Tasklist
  • Everyone: add/edit tasks and duration and resources estimates
  • Contact Hamamatsu for electronic version of PMT data sheets
