MESON SF SIMULATIONS (Richard)
- ZDC distribution comparison from Yellow Report (Yulia, G4E) vs. Fun4All implementation with all latest updates
- distributions look very similar
- outlier is 5 on 41, does not scale with proton energy as expected
- detection efficiency nearly 100% for neutron
- next: IP8 studies
- Action items:
- check with Bill on status IP8 simulation including far forward beamline
- Fix 5 on 41 setting, then could make comparison with YR
PION FORM FACTOR (Stephen, Garth)
- First results distributions and rates estimations at different Q2 ranges
- What needs to be done to make plots for IP8 configurations?
- in principle nothing stops from WG - simulation group needs
- Action items:
- compare different IPs - to what extent does it impact t-distribution
- different energies
THEORY (David, Patrick)
- Studies of impact lattice plus global fitting on PDFs ongoing
KAON FORM FACTOR (Ali)
- Working on analysis, and in particular for Lambda decay and ZDC distributions
- Action items:
- generate t-distribution to show difference between pion and kaon reactions --> sets constraints on far forward beam line
- detection efficiency ZDC
- analyze KSigma channel
- IP comparison - to what extent impact Lambda decay
