MECHANICAL DESIGN/ENGINEERING

• Coil discussions with potential vendor - preparing material for review

• pancake option vs. continous wound option (less splices/joints) - both are within regime of existing power supplies - need to revisit if/which existing power supply to use
• cooling system options - closed/contained circuit vs. open - need to check with Radcon on requirements for 1-10kW dumps around beamline

• extend flanges outside shielding

• Design work started on CPS/shielding platform

• 44 80W20Cu (alloy WCu) blocks moved to Physics storage and one crate opened for inspection
