  • Write up field quality of polarized target (Bogdan)
  • Add phrasing or rephrase activation dose at one foot from the scattering chamber after ~100 hour run (Tanja/Rolf)

SUMMARY OF THE DISCUSSION

CPS DOCUMENT

  • Discussion about updating document following the guidance in the report from JLab - see action items above
  • further detail on report final remark on narrative not flowing smoothly: check for 1) concatenated sections in which sentences may not follow logically and require knowledge of subsequent pages, 2) magnet figure - component not described, 3) figures with the same captions
  • Aim is to finalize all updates by 21 December

POSSIBLE PUBLICATION IN NIM OR SIMILAR

  • General consensus is that it is a good idea - also a way to show new capabilities at JLab to people who may not yet be aware
  • Aiming for instrumentation paper, so not all pieces of current technical document, e.g. regarding the science, may be needed
  • Aim for putting together an initial draft by 2019 Hall A/C Winter meeting and solicit feedback

CPS CONSTRUCTION

  • Collaborators from universities will try to get guidance from NSF
