- CPS presentation at the 2019 Workshop on Polarized Sources, Targets, and Polarimetry (22-27 September 2019) in Knoxville (https://conferences.sns.gov/event/139/)
- Gabriel will present
- CPS magnet shielding configuration concepts
- Main concept studied in FLUKA - see reports by Parker Reid posted in this Wiki, heavy and expensive
- Three possible optimizations
- large range of weights, possibly large reduction in weight and cost
- Need to do comparative studies to decide on the most suitable configuration
- CPS model
- Gabriel is working on it - additional work due to FLUKA global updates issued this month
- CPS article
- Draft with line numbers is posted
- Goal: submit article by end of August to have it posted by the time of the PSTP2019 conference
- Details of the full implementation study ongoing right now is not needed, but mentioning the overall idea could be good
