SIMULATION FLUKA (Gabriel)

  • Now have a model with all geometries and magnetic fields in one simulation! - nontrivial in fluka, required a mesh of fields

CPS MAGNET (Bogdan)

  • Received CPS magnet design drawings from Japanese company for radiation hard coils based on specs (coil winding, length, conductor, insulator thickness, current, cooling, etc.) submitted
  • Still need cost estimate for this design
  • Cost yoke known from previous quote
  • CPS magnet for Hall D for simulations - goal to have this before Collaboration Meeting
  • need raster information (Sean, Igor)
  • need to stretch geometries in all directions, but might be more involved than simple scaling


FUNDING PROPOSAL

  • due date: 21 January - aim for 17 January
  • Action item: finalize budget, start on documents, project description


CPS ARTICLE

  • Submitted to arXiv
  • Submit to NIM journal - before also to JLab
