JLab cares about the welfare and productivity of its workforce and the scientific community it supports. We have a mechanism for employees and users to report concerns without fear of retaliation. JLab's Employee Concerns Program (ECP) provides a risk-free way to anonymously and confidentially report activities that may involve unsafe, fraudulent, unethical, or otherwise inappropriate behavior in violation of JLab's policies, Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct. JLab guarantees that no retaliatory action will be taken against anyone for reporting or inquiring in good faith about potential breaches of policies or for seeking guidance on how to handle suspected breaches.

Therefore, we encourage you to bring forward any concerns you might have to your supervisor, mentor, or sponsor. If you have reservations about discussing matters with these individuals or other levels of lab management, you may use the ECP.

If you have reason to believe that a violation of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct, or any other Lab policy has occurred or is likely to occur, report the violation or potential violation to at least one of the following:

  • Your Supervisor, Mentor, or Sponsor
  • Your Department Head or Associate Director
  • The JLab Human Resources Department or User Liaison Office
  • JLab Employee Concerns Hotline: 1-888-296-8301 or the JSA Employee Concerns Web Site http://www.jsaecp.ethicspoint.com
