=== Last Year's Users Group Workshop and Annual Meeting ===

Your participation is important, and we strongly urge everyone to  make plans to attend. We particularly encourage graduate students to attend the annual meeting. The Jefferson Science Associates Initiatives Fund has again sponsored our waiving student registration fees. We will again have special lunch discussions for the graduate students where free food is available. The poster competition continues, with a first prize of $1000, a 2nd prize of $500, and a third prize of $250. The deadline for poster competition abstracts is Wednesday, May 23, 2011 - and you cannot win if you do not enter. For further information please contact Rakitha Sanjeewa Beminiwattha

(rakithab@jlab.org).

Please come and find out more about the plans of DOE, NSF, and the laboratory in the coming years. The main theme of this year's meeting is "The end of the 6 GeV era at Jefferson Lab". On the final day, there will also be a party to celebrate the end

of 6 GeV running.

The Annual User Group Meeting plays a central role in maintaining the coherence and effectiveness of our community. Your User Group Board is working hard to put together a good meeting, and we very much hope to see you there! Sign up early - '''registration fees go up after May 25'''.
