In 2017, the Jefferson Lab Users Organization Board of Directors (JLUO BoD) (''formerly known as Users Group Board of Directors (UGBoD)'') initiated a visit to the [https://science.energy.gov/np/ DOE NP office] to communicate to its staff the Jefferson Lab user community enthusiasm, research vision and plans, concerns, ask, and gratitude for their strong and continuous support.
