Run Plan: Nov. 9 - Nov. 10

Upstream beamline commissioning and beam tune using the tagger dump (beam will not go through the Hall). The goal is to get CW stable beam to th eHall-B tagger dump and with beam parameters on 2C24 harp (tagger harp) (x and Y width and S/N on halo counters from harp wire) close to values obtained with 6 GeV machine.

  • Follow procedures in the "Beamline commissioning plan". Tuning beam to tagger dump is covered under item (A). Depending on the machine state, items (A.7) and (A.8) may not be feasible to complete at this time.
  • The beam parameters at 2C24/tagger harp needed to deliver HPS requested beam ("pancake") on target in downstream alcove are outlined in A. Freyberger's "[1]"
