A series of biweekly one-hour discussions is being organized to continue to discuss and refine the scientific case for the 22 GeV Upgrade. These discussions are held in hybrid format with participation via Zoom and in a conference room at Jefferson Lab. These meetings will be announced via the mailing list noted above. Welcome to the Jefferson Lab 22 GeV Upgrade Wiki
Beginning in early 2022 a series of workshops were organized to begin to explore and develop the scientific case for a 22 GeV energy upgrade to the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF) at Jefferson Lab. The upgrade plans to augment the existing CEBAF, which delivers the world's highest intensity muti-GeV election beam, with fixed-field alternating gradient arcs that allow simultaneous transport of multiple beams enabling a significant increase in beam energy due to additional passes through the existing accelerating structures. At 22 GeV, CEBAF will continue to operate at the luminosity frontier, providing world-unique opportunities to conduct high-precision studies of the emergent behavior of Quantum Chromodynamics.

JLab 22 GeV Open Discussion
A series of biweekly one-hour discussions is being organized to continue to discuss and refine the scientific case for the 22 GeV Upgrade. These discussions are held in hybrid format with participation via Zoom and in a conference room at Jefferson Lab. These meetings will be announced via the mailing list noted above. More information, including meeting agendas can be found here: 22 GeV Open Discussion.
