Revision as of 18:54, 6 February 2018
- Attended:
- Just a reminder: We will have PKI2018 Workshop, Feb 14-15 [1]
- KL Flux Monitor: Mikhail sent KL Flux Memo to Eugene [2]
- CFS: Tanja posted a draft of the NPS/CPS 2018 Action Items: [3].
- Sc & cryotarget: A week ago, Justin, Eric, Chris, and Igor met and discuss a SC and LH2/LD2 cryotarget configuration. The bottom line is that the cryotarget will have 6 cm in diameter and 40 cm length and it will fit a SC scattering chamber. The cryotarget location is in the center of the GlueX detector. There is a minor question regarding a production angle for different particles for different reactions which somehow depends on the cryotarget location.
- KL beam: Ilja made MC for KL beam and he promised to provide a geometrical profile (size and angle) of KL beam on the cryotarget. The size of the KL beam is much broader than the size of the diameter of the cryotarget.
- Final design of Be-target assembly [4].The weight of the Be-target assembly is 14.5 ton.
Preliminary results show that we are under RadCon control [5]. We are still waiting for Tim about a cooling system
