People
Faculty
- Prof. X, 100% of research time, full time on GlueX
- Prof. Y, 75% of research time, also works with ABC Collaboration
- Prof. Z, 30% of research time, also works with DEF Collaboration
PostDocs
- Dr. A, 100% of research time on GlueX
- Dr. B, 40% of research time, spends 60% of time on Experiment GHI
Graduate Students
- M, 100% of research time
- N, 100% of research time
- O, 100% of research time
Responsibilities
Note: please include only current, active responsibilities. This is not meant to be a CV for the group. In general, we would like to know who is doing what right now.
- Professor X serves as member of the Collaboration Board and Chairs the xyz Working Group.
- Professor Y manages the KLF Thesis Database. His related research work on Experiment ABC entails no overlap with KLF physics.
- Professor Z supervises graduates students M and N. Her related research on Experiment DEF overlap her work at KLF.
- Dr. A is responsible for the gain calibrations for the xyz detector. He/She/They is also responsible for online and offline monitoring and she manages the Drupal site for KLF Images.
- Dr. B
- Graduate Student M is responsible for mno Calibration and Software and is doing some Monte Carlo Tuning.
- Graduate Student N is responsible for the drift chamber alignments in KLF and the internal CDC alignments and time-to-distance relations. He also developed the first past timing calibrations.
- Graduate Student O is currently learning to take over from Graduate Student N.
Physics Interests
- Pseudoscalar Meson photoproduction, particularly the eta.
- Vector Meson photoproduction with particular emphasis on the omega.
- Proton-Antiproton Photoproduction.
- Exploratory Studies of the eta - pi - pi final state.
Disclosure of Other Research Activities
Prof. Y also works on the ABC collaboration studying XXX, however because the production mechanism and decay channels are different there does not seem to be a conflict of interest with the ongoing work in the KLF collaboration. Our group also has graduated students P and Q and postdoc Dr. C, who are working exclusively with the ABC collaboration and regularly meetings where we discuss preliminary KLF analyses.
