- Dr. Nilanga Wickramaarachchi, 60% of research time on GlueX
- Dr. Nilanga Wickramaarachchi, 40% of research time on EIC
Graduate Students
- MD Imran Hossain, 100% of research time on EIC
Responsibilities
Note: please include only current, active responsibilities. This is not meant to be a CV for the group. In general, we would like to know who is doing what right now.
- Prof. Greg Kalicy works on EIC DIRC and GlueX DIRC. He is a Lead and Technical Contact for the hpDIRC Detector System Collaboration (DSC) for ePIC. He supervises graduate student Imran Hossain and works with Dr. Nilanga Wickramaarachchi on the analysis of the Decay of the Lambda(1405) to Sigma0Pi0 measured at GlueX.
- Dr. Nilanga Wickramaarachchi is primarily working on the analysis of the Decay of the Lambda(1405) to Sigma0Pi0 measured at GlueX. He also works on simulations of ePIC hpDIRC and serves as simulation liaison of hpDIRC DSC.
- Graduate Student MD Imran Hossain is currently working on EIC simulations but is expected to get involved in GlueX in spring/summer 2024.
Physics Interests
- Lambda(1405) hyperon.
- Hadron Spectroscopy/Exotic Hadrons
- Exploring reactions with final state including kaons to enable better usage and understanding of GlueX DIRC.
Disclosure of Other Research Activities
All other research activities of our group focus on detector development for the Electron Ion Collider.== People ==
