People

Faculty

  • Priv.-Doz. Dr. habil. Frank Nerling, 10% of research time

PostDocs

currently none

Graduate Students

currently none

Responsibilities

Note: please include only current, active responsibilities. This is not meant to be a CV for the group. In general, we would like to know who is doing what right now.

  1. PD Dr. Frank Nerling follows, contributes to and supports
  the KLF project

Physics Interests

  1. Kaon Spectroscopy, especially strange-quark resonances
  decaying to Kπ
  1. Strange hyperon spectroscopy, especially excited Λ,Σ,Ξ and
  also Ω states

Disclosure of Other Research Activities

PD Dr. Nerling has been a member of the GlueX collaboration and he is still involved in physics analysis of GlueX data, studying exotics in photoproduction with an analysis currently in the internal review process for a journal publication.

Otherwise, he is working on the BESIII and PANDA Collaborations, and on hadron physics at FAIR in general.

Since these experiments explore other production mechanisms and different decay channels there does not seem to be a conflict of interest with the ongoing work in the KLF collaboration.
