- Taking RGA spectra of the photogun chamber under vacuum to determine the concentrations of various gas species that may be ionized and lead to ion backbombardment of the photocathode
- Create simulation of ion backbombardment in the gun chamber (perhaps using Poisson Superfish and Parmela? Another option is to use Python.)
