T-shape, large grain Nb electrode mounted on white R28 insulator and vacuum fired flange.
Electrode assembly history links to UITFLOG entries
- 12/06/2023 14” gun with Nb electrode removed from UITF and stored in TL1137, next to 18” gun with spherical electrode ready for installation in UITF prior to going to CEBAF
- 07/30/2023 Tee Nb electrode conditioned tot 240 kV/Kr, but still field emission onset at 180 kV. Used for booster commissioning at that voltage, perhaps up to 200 kV
- 06/24/2011 Summary of gun fixes replacing Tee electrode+shed with Nb Tee electrode on pure alumina R28
- 05/11/2021 Removed and aligned anode, installed new Schneedle Nitronic, aligned long manipiulator.
- 05/11/2021 Black R28 with small shield Tee electrode removed. Found punctured insulator and electrode scratched. Snheedle misaligned.
- 04/08/2021 Large Gran Nb electrode test leak free in TL1337
