Here is the corrected version of the Law of Malus' taking place. The measurements shown here would include rotations of the polarizer and rotations of the magnets. The leak through (or absolute minimum) was around .0002 uW.

This is the raw data taken from the minimum approach. Purely power and magnetic field corresponding to those points. We can see that both polarities are capable of increasing the power or decreasing it depending on which side of the minimum they are on.
